Dear Partners:

To advance the lives of our military-connected students, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) relies on one true vision: “Excellence in Education for Every Student, Every Day, Everywhere.” The DoDEA Education Partnership Grant Program beautifully showcases this vision. Since 2009, DoDEA has awarded over 559 grants in 36 states reaching over 3,100 military-connected public schools nationwide. 

Through our grant program we are building partnerships that help military connected students be college and career ready. By sharing resources, we can empower students to work toward clear, consistent and high-reaching goals and exceed learning expectations in order to achieve a rich, rigorous and well-rounded education. This website is yet another way we share our resources with our partners. This website provides a centralized location for military-connected school districts who have been awarded DoDEA grants and those who are grant seekers to find information about our grant tools and resources.

DoDEA Partners with Penn State Clearinghouse to Provide Military-Connected Student Resources
DoDEA has partnered with the Penn State University to develop materials for school support staff and personnel that includes resources to use within the school setting or to share with families. Resources include brochures, directories, handouts/ printables, and information on informal strategies or formal programs that may assist school personnel and service providers working with military-connected students and families. Grantee Spotlight

Great Expectations and Results Urgency Plan 4 Little Wingmen (GEAR UP 4 Little Wingmen) helps establish the Little Wingmen Preschool Program for Whiteman Air Force Base and Knob Noster. Recently, they took part in a Drive in at the Library event. Their partnership with @DoDEA allows them to bring these great community events to the Knob Noster area.

DoDEA is happy to announce the Notice of Funding Opportunity the Fiscal Year 2023 DoDEA Grants to Military-Connected Local Educational Agencies for Academic and Support Programs (MCASP) and the World Language Advancement and Readiness Program Grant (WLARP) competition is now available for application on grants.gov: https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/view-opportunity.html?oppId=345502
 
Each individual grant award will be a minimum of $500,000.00 and may be up to a maximum of $2,000,000, for a period of up to five (5) years.
 
Applications are due Friday, April 7, 2023.
