Burkburnett ISD is getting back to basics by helping military-connected students at all campuses improve their skills in Mathematics and Reading Language Arts. BISD is partnering with Curriculum Associates (iReady) to provide students with digital practice and teachers with curriculum tools. BISD is also partnering with Solution Tree to build capacity in staff on the basics of Professional Learning Communities (PLC) and Response to Intervention (Rtl) models. We recognize the need to restart and refresh for students and teachers to build solid foundations following interrupted learning. We want students to have the skills necessary to advance and that means getting back to basics.
