RFISD is a Texas public school district located entirely within the boundaries of Joint Base San Antonio- Randolph. Learning Intervention For students or the LIFT project focuses on closing student learning gaps through immediate, individualized, and focused intervention in math and the English Language Arts. This small group specialized intervention, not possible in a standard classroom setting, focuses on skill development, closing learning gaps, and providing children with the individual instruction necessary to prevent them from becoming part of the “lost generation.” The FY2023 MCASP grant, in partnership with RFISD, will allow the district to meet the unique needs of RFISD’s military students with interventionists, using school day intervention period, and provide out of school intervention activities.
